Job Title : Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Location : New Jersey (Hybrid – Telehealth and / or In-Person)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing mental health team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families while maintaining ethical, professional, and regulatory standards set forth by the New Jersey Professional Counselor Examiners Committee .
Responsibilities
Provide individual, couples, and / or family therapy through telehealth or in-office sessions.
Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and document sessions according to clinical, legal, and ethical guidelines.
Implement evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness).
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Collaborate with other clinicians, supervisors, and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in case consultation, supervision, and continuing education as required.
Uphold HIPAA, confidentiality, and cultural competence standards in all interactions.
If qualified, provide clinical supervision to Licensed Associate Counselors (LACs) per N.J.A.C. 13 : 34-10.2 and 13.1.
Qualifications
Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in the State of New Jersey.
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-graduation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Specialized training or certification in trauma, CBT, DBT, EMDR, or related modalities.
Experience working with diverse populations and presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns.
Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential or equivalent, if applicable.
Bilingual (English / Spanish or other languages) is a plus.
