Circulating RN

Pride Health is hiring a Circulating RN for one of our clients located in Houston, TX (77025)! (Contract)

This role will be working in a Surgery Center

Schedule :

Mon-Fri Day (0630a - 3pm)

Contract : 3 months

Pay Rate : 50-55 / hour

Duties and Responsibilities

Follows the standards of care related to the nursing process.

Conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, and maintenance of medical records under the supervision of the coordinator, supervisor of manager.

Practices in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.

Addresses and resolves common contingency situations that arise in specialty area.

Documentation is accurate, legible, timely, and concise according to protocol.

Treats patients and family with courtesy, respect, and professionalism

Provides instructions, verbal and written to the level of the patient’s understanding.

Stocks unit / completes routine checks on unit.

Actively participates in preoperative call process.

Communicates any delays to family members and other team members as necessary.

Prioritizes care based on the patient’s needs, abilities, and preferences.

Advocates on patient / family’s behalf to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns, utilizing appropriate resources.

Requirements and Qualifications

Active RN License

BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred)

Experience in OR setting

Circulating experience preferred
