Pride Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Dayshift) to support our client’s medical facility in Monroe, MI. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Dayshift) Shift : 5

Location : Monroe, MI

Contract : 13 weeks, 40 guaranteed hours per week

Pay : $3100 to $3200 / week

Job Overview :

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform general nuclear studies and cardiopulmonary nuclear stress tests. This role may also involve assisting in the Radiology front office as needed. Independent work and collaboration with the Radiology team are essential.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety and imaging protocols.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Start and maintain IV lines using proper sterile and clinical techniques.
• Safely store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials per state and federal regulations.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Accurately document procedures, doses, and imaging data in Epic.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and imaging staff to support optimal patient care.
• Provide imaging services across varied patient age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
