We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to large-scale projects through innovative electrical designs and effective problem-solving. This role demands a proficient understanding of power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification to ensure the reliability, safety, and operational productivity of our products.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical designs for large-scale projects.

Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification and selection.

Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.

Lead and direct engineers, designers, and support personnel on large-scale projects.

Design embedded processor-based digital equipment.

Consider EMI / RFI compliance in hardware system architecture.

Conduct investigative and qualification testing to military and aerospace requirements.

Write engineering technical reports for multi-year aerospace development programs.

Assist with the introduction of new technologies to ensure product reliability and safety.

Troubleshoot electrical components for first and continuing production articles.

Collaborate with engineers of other disciplines to meet technical objectives.

Work collaboratively with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.

Essential Skills

3-6 years of experience in aerospace and defense electrical engineering.

Experience with high voltage aerospace control systems and avionics.

Proficiency in electrical testing procedures and board design.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Component evaluation and new component testing.

Obsolescence avoidance for electronics and components.

Experience in PCB design and avionics electrical systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00 / yr.
