Job Summary :

We are seeking a flexible and energetic Food Truck Helper to assist with daily operations. This role involves a variety of tasks, including food preparation, customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness of the truck. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, wrapping, and serving.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by handling orders, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the food truck, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Help with inventory management and restocking supplies.
  • Assist with setting up and tearing down the truck at events.
  • Participate in promotional activities to engage customers and enhance brand visibility.

Requirements :

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, typically between 10-40 hours per week, depending on events and demand.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor for excellent customer interaction.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation to and from events / home base.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in food service or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
