About The Position

Opportunity Details

A hospital in southeastern Virginia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide ongoing Cardiothoracic Surgery and ICU locum coverage.

Opportunity Details :

• Schedule : 6 : 45p-7 : 45a
• Call Requirement : 1-2 days per week
• Setting : CSICU
• Nightly Volume : 20 patients, 1 admission
• Required Skills : Arterial catheters, venous lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tube placement, endoscopic radial harvest, etc.
• First assist on CABG, valves, heart transplants, aortic dissections, thoracotomies, ECMO, cannulations, and MCS implantations
• ECMO, transplant, and mechanical circulatory device experience preferred
• Support Staff : 5 ICU APPs, 7 OR APPs
• EMR : Epic
• Paid travel & expenses
• Must be board-certified
