A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER-CRNP

Your day begins in a supportive clinic environment where you set the pace for patient care. As the clinical lead you oversee a mix of scheduled and same-day appointments-everything from annual exams and STI screenings to contraceptive counseling and preventive vaccines. You might see a college student seeking guidance on birth control options administer a flu shot to a walk-in patient or consult on lab results following a routine wellness exam. Throughout the day you collaborate closely with Care Navigators who help patients access vital resources like food housing or behavioral health services.

You create a welcoming space where conversations about reproductive health are open respectful and judgment-free. With a streamlined electronic health record system that integrates behavioral and social determinants of health your focus remains on high-quality care-not productivity quotas. When the day ends you leave knowing your work has improved lives far beyond the exam room.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER-CRNP

Active Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania

At least 2 years of clinical experience

Certification in a relevant specialty area

Strong foundation in family planning reproductive health and preventive care

Ability to travel locally as needed for coverage or training

Commitment to patient-centered care

• Masters or DNP preferred

Adagio Health operates eight medical offices in western Pennsylvania providing clinical services and addressing broader health needs such as food insecurity behavioral health and care navigation.
