Hire Type : Direct Hire

Salary : $25-$26 / hr.

Sterling Engineering is looking for an Equipment Service Technician to provide technical support to service partners and customers via phone, email, and other communication channels. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication to support service needs from the sales organization and customer care team.

Job Duties :

Provide technical support for equipment, accessories, consumables, and spare parts to customers, internal staff, and business partners

Address complaints and resolve problems promptly to ensure world-class customer service

Answer calls and respond to emails professionally and in a timely manner using standard systems and processes

Document call information and update customer records according to standard operating procedures

Handle inquiries both telephonically and by email, researching and resolving issues using available resources

Manage and resolve customer complaints, following up as necessary to ensure satisfaction

Enter or update customer / caller information into the CRM system

Identify and escalate priority issues and route calls to the appropriate resources

Qualifications :

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Strong troubleshooting background with 3-phase power, gas, and electronics technology

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and business correspondence

Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, regulations, and professional documentation

Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
