The listed minimum pay reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Position Overview

• Transcribes physicians' orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Generates and maintains tools necessary for patient care.
• Creates, maintains, and terminates patient charts.
• Maintains patient census and status boards.
• Copies records and other information as needed.
• Ensures unit is appropriately supplied with necessary forms and supplies.
• Prepares unit charges as appropriate.
• Answers and places telephone calls timely.
• Facilitates the movement of patients.
• Provides non-clinical information.
• Monitors communication in the nursing station.
• Schedules diagnostic tests and lab work.
• Assists in answering call bells.
• Handles medication deliveries.
