Pay : $95,000 - $120,000 per year depending on experience
Schedule : Full-time, Days, No Weekends, Admin hours

Overview
Guide a high-performing Progressive Care unit at a major regional hospital in the Asheville area. Partner with interdisciplinary leaders to optimize outcomes, experience, and efficiency.
Primary Duties
Own day-to-day operations, quality, safety, and patient experience for a 40-bed unit
Hire, mentor, evaluate, and advance clinical staff; foster engagement and retention
Plan staffing and budgets; meet productivity and throughput targets
Standardize evidence-based care and readiness for surveys and audits
Track, analyze, and act on unit KPIs and benchmarking data
Required Background
BSN or equivalent pathway; MSN preferred
RN license (NC or eNLC) and BLS
National certification within 1 year of hire (leadership or specialty)
Minimum 5 years recent nursing experience; 2+ years relevant hospital background
Demonstrated leadership in stepdown or progressive care preferred
