Location : Clyde, NC Nestled in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, Clyde offers a peaceful small-town atmosphere with stunning natural surroundings. The area provides easy access to outdoor activities in the Great Smoky Mountains while being just a short drive from the cultural amenities of Asheville. Facility : This regional medical center serves the healthcare needs of Haywood County and surrounding communities. The facility features an 11-bed OB department and is currently experiencing staffing challenges with providers on FMLA and pending licensures, creating an immediate need for qualified obstetrics support. Opportunity : Board Certification Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details :

• Provide coverage for an OB clinic experiencing staffing shortages, initially for specific dates (9 / 1, 9 / 2, 9 / 11, 9 / 25) with ongoing needs as staffing stabilizes
• Handle 2-5 patient encounters per shift in clinic setting
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST / CST / FSE
• Conduct and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I / Screening and Level II / Targeted)
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Handle routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
• Make decisions regarding c-section necessity
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• VBAC deliveries preferred but not required
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Conduct diagnostic and operative procedures including tubal ligations, LOA's, chronal tubation
• Handle major operative cases including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Must have ACLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days
