Dean's Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, Food Service Worker Lead to work for a School District in Colorado Springs, CO. We are on a mission to create care that's more convenient and professional.

The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and serve quality food and baked goods following menus and standards.
  • Ensure proper food storage, handling, sanitation, and temperature controls.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment safely, especially knives.
  • Keep work areas, equipment, and kitchen floors clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Support daily operations by following food safety / uniform policies and assisting with additional tasks.

Job Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Food Handler Certification (as required).
  • 2+ years of catering experience with previous management / supervisory background.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene and HACCP with proven ability to maintain high standards.
  • Proficiency in IT systems (Word, Excel, stock ordering) and basic financial understanding of food / labor costs.

  • 8 hour shifts.
  • Must be flexible.
  • $19 / hr + benefits
  • Full benefits - healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
