Job descriptionOctober 21-25 : 8a-5p October 25 : 5p-7a December 2-5 : 8a-5p only December 6-7 : 24-hour call and daytime shifts January 6-19, various shifts February 1-7 : Full coverage Additional shifts available through early 2025 Shift Types : Night call (5p-7a) 24-hour call on weekends (7a-7a) Board Certification in Gastroenterology : Required Colorado Medical License : Preferred; active DEA required Gastroenterology Fellowship : Required Experience : Must be comfortable handling 12-16 scopes per day and managing 10-15 patients per day in clinic. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) : EPIC, with mandatory training requirements Scope of Practice : Routine scoping, including EGD, colonoscopy, manometry, and 24-hour PH probes. Providers will work in a combination of clinic, ER, and inpatient settings. Support : Comprehensive support staff including MA, NP / PA, and RN. Call Coverage : Includes night and weekend 24-hour call shifts. Preferred Candidate : Experience in treating patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is preferred but not required. Competitive Compensation : Hourly rates, night call rates, and 24-hour call rates offered. Travel Support : Lodging, airfare, and rental car arrangements provided according to set guidelines. Flexible Scheduling : Coverage dates extend through February 2025, with the opportunity to customize your availability.
