Endo Tech

Overview

Endo Tech role at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. The Endo Tech assists the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile setup for operation and pass items as needed to the endoscopy team. They assist in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopy team during procedures and support staff with equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and move patients as directed; maintain a clean endoscopy room.
• Ensure centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment; store prepared articles in designated areas.
• Maintain and track inventory according to facility procedures.
• Report to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director as assigned.
