Health Care Manager (Camp Nurse)

Experience or background in school or public health nursing preferred.

Plan and carry out a total program of health and safety for the camp community. Guide counselors in their responsibilities for their campers health care. Administer all medications and treatments according to physician’s order and keep all records.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Currently licenced as an RN or LPN in the state of Washington.
• Current certification in First-Aid and CPR.

OVERVIEW :

To be at the nurse’s station before and after meals, be at campfire, and return to the nurse’s station after campfire. Health Care Manager is to be available at the nurse’s station for open clinic hours determined by camp schedule. Schedule is assigned in conjunction with the camp schedule and the Assistnat Camp Administrator.
