The Account Manager is responsible for managing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing the full sales cycle, developing strategic account plans, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The Senior Account Manager will work closely with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities for business expansion, and serve as a trusted advisor. This position requires strong relationship management, negotiation, and leadership skills to drive long-term success.
Essential Functions :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Create and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to deliver customized client solutions.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field experience is preferred.Proven experience in technical sales, particularly within the industrial equipment or infrastructure sectorsStrong ability to produce technical white papers and documentationFamiliarity with working with municipalities and government entitiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasivelyHighly motivated and capable of working independently to achieve sales targetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectivelyWillingness to adapt to a dynamic market environment and evolve sales strategies accordinglyCollaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teamsTravel
