Dental Assistant – Prickly Pear Pediatric Dentistry

Location : Helena, Montana Job Type : Full-time

About Us :

We are a fun, family-friendly pediatric dental practice dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children of all ages. Our team values kindness, teamwork, and patient-centered care in a warm and welcoming environment. We’re looking for an energetic and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

Responsibilities :

Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take digital X-rays and impressions as needed
Provide excellent patient care and help children feel comfortable and safe
Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Support front office team as needed

Qualifications :

Dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience a plus

X-ray certification preferred (or required within the first 6 months of employment)

Current CPR certification

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
