Program Manager - Louisville, KY

Mothers Against Drunk Driving is looking for a compassionate, solution-oriented, adaptable, energetic, and motivated candidate to work with victims and survivors of impaired driving for MADD fundraising events, and the MADD Victim Impact Panel (VIP) program. Network building, working with law enforcement.

This is a remote, work-from-home position that will require the selected candidate to reside in the general or surrounding Louisville, Kentucky area.

Essential Functions :

  • Participate in and provide support in all fundraising initiatives and volunteer capacity building for MADD programs.
  • Organize and facilitate parent workshops and underage drinking prevention program presentations throughout the state.
  • Source and recruit volunteers, as needed, for applicable programs.
  • Provide guidance, support and motivation to volunteers and staff by organizing training meetings, telephone coaching and on-site assistance.
  • Serve as community liaison for MADD mission-related activities.
  • Organize, direct, and ensure implementation of all Victim Impact Panels, including panel processing, logistics, and marketing of both in-person and online courses.
  • Foster a culture of philanthropy within MADD.
  • Assure that the organization's corporate culture, systems and procedures support the goals and objectives of MADD.
  • Work with staff and lead volunteers to institutionalize philanthropy within the organization.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support MADD programs, including Victim Impact Panel (VIP) program, donor cultivation, foundation grant applications, corporate sponsorships, and online campaigns.
  • Manage and execute innovative and impactful special events that raise awareness, engage the community, and generate crucial financial support for MADD initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of fundraising efforts and event planning, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other key stakeholders, nurturing a network of support for MADD programs.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate fundraising performance, identify opportunities for growth, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee budget management for fundraising campaigns, victim impact panels, and events, maximizing resources and optimizing return on investment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, special events management, and nonprofit program development.
  • Proven track record of successfully raising funds through diverse channels, including major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships.
  • Strong organizational skills detail and results focused with proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and convey thoughts clearly, logically, and concisely both orally and in writing, using appropriate grammar, and command of the English language.
  • Ability to work both independently and with others to resolve issues and maintain composure and professionalism in an environment of changing and / or multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to work on a timetable, meet deadlines, follow instructions, and accept direction on given assignments.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to maintain a high activity level.
  • Must have exceptional internal and external customer service focus.
  • Must have demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain social, ethical, and organizational standards in job related activities, at work and in the community.
  • Must maintain workplace confidentiality.
