Job descriptionEducation : Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a Master's Degree in OT. License : Active OT license. Experience : 1+ year of occupational therapy experience. Certification : BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Skills : Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
Occupational Therapist- Day Shift
Location : Newport, VT, 05855
Duration : 15-week
Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Guaranteed Hours : 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate : $1,470 - $1,610; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to improve motor skills, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for continued progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations.
