Overview
As Vice President of Cyber Liability, you will join Everest Insurance as a strategic and experienced leader responsible for shaping the future of our underwriting group. In this senior role, you will drive the strategy, growth, and profitability of a significant Cyber Liability & Technology Errors & Omissions portfolio. You will lead key broker and client development initiatives, oversee the underwriting process for our most complex accounts, and serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for the team.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include :
Leading the strategic growth and profitable management of a large and complex book of Cyber & Tech E&O business.
Driving and cultivating strategic relationships with key national brokers and high-value clients.
Mentoring, guiding, and developing junior underwriting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and strong performance.
Overseeing the end-to-end underwriting process, personally handling the most sophisticated transactions and negotiations.
Representing the Cyber division in collaborations with senior leadership across the organization to drive business-wide initiatives.
Championing exceptional client service and ensuring strict adherence to all internal and external compliance standards.
Qualifications :
A Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of progressive underwriting experience, with a required focus on Cyber liability.
A proven track record of successfully managing a profitable, large-scale underwriting portfolio.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience mentoring and developing underwriting talent.
Exceptional business acumen, financial analysis skills, and a proven ability to develop and execute portfolio strategy.
A strong executive presence with outstanding communication and relationship management skills, capable of influencing key internal and external stakeholders.
The base salary range for this position is $152,000 - $253,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
