Carrier Sales Specialist (Bilingual English / Korean)
Responsibilities
- Build new and manage existing carrier base
- Negotiate fair rates with carriers to ensure on-time pickup to meet on-time delivery set by customer
- On board new carriers using proprietary tools and in house vetting process
- Utilize proprietary tools to find carriers to move customer shipments to include internal and external load boards
- Send rate confirmations to carriers
- Identify issues and work cross-functionally to determine and implement the best solution
- Be on-call on holidays, weekends, and after traditional office hours (this time will be split between team)
- Other assigned duties
Qualifications
Looking for someone who is business-minded, self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, proficient negotiating skills, and analytical skills.Possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.6 months to 1 year of experience as a logistics broker (full cradle to grave)Established customer and carrier relationships preferred (not required)Driven and competitive natureAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organizationWork independently and as a part of a teamBenefits (Full-Time Only)
