Description :
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes.
They develop, implement, and evaluate the patient's plan of care.
The Staff Nurse, RN creates an atmosphere that supports our mission to care, heal, and educate.
As the primary caregiver, they provide direct patient care.
They work collaboratively with other care team members, the physician, and the patient / family.
The goal is to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The incumbent has access to confidential patient information.
They make decisions independently and in collaboration with others.
The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Candidates will be asked to float to similar units.
They may be asked to float to other locations as necessary.
Floating will be in similar acuity or lower level acuity than what they are hired for.
They will work every other weekend.
Holiday coverage is required.
