This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, with a requirement to work every other weekend and three out of six major holidays.

\n\nJob Description\n

This position involves working in a low violence facility with a focus on mental health and addiction treatment. You will be assigned to work in two acute psych units and two detox units with a diverse patient population, including patients with co-occurring disorders.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Conduct assessments and administer medications during scheduled shifts.

    • \n

  • Lead medication education groups and assist with meal delivery.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and addiction counselors.

    • \n

  • Ensure patient safety and comply with facility rules.

    • \n

  • Utilize clinical skills to manage patients in detox and acute care settings.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Active RN license with at least 1 year of experience in a similar psych or detox setting.

    • \n

  • Current BLS certification; CPI certification can be obtained on-site.

    • \n

  • Experience with IV administration is required.
