Electronics Technician 4 - Tysons, VA 100% Travel at M.C. Dean, Inc.

Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electronic security systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
- Lead teams on large, complex installation projects with limited supervision.
- Lead and document daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and safety audits.
- Install and maintain equipment at local and global levels per design packages.
- Program and install head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshoot and isolate systems and hardware locally and globally.
- Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
- Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory; perform takeoffs from project drawings; create documentation.
- Document and track RFIs; provide design assist and feedback.
- Document daily reports and project progress; communicate issues to management.
- Create and manage project schedules; integrate IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.
- Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
- Guide and mentor technicians.
- Position requires 100% travel.
Qualifications
Clearance / Citizen Type : Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to classified information. No clearance is needed at present.

HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) orGraduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program orGraduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship programAdditional three (3) years of electronics installation and / or maintenance activitiesRequired Progressive Experience
8+ years of electronics installation and / or maintenance on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs3 years of the above experience focused in electronic security systemsStrong oral, written, and presentation skillsExperience working with multidisciplinary teamsStrong time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines and quality objectivesMS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are a plusMust be able to travel 50%+Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv / Hirsch Velocity, Bosch, etc.) and Windows operating systems; experience installing these systemsWhat We Offer
