Overview :
Equity Advocates are student leaders who support and represent the Office of Access Equity and Diversity (OAED) and the Center for Campus Inclusion and Diversity (CCID). As student employees within OAED, Equity Advocates work closely with professional staff to use compassion, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration to support the B.L.A.C.K. Student Success Program (BSSP).
Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice, equity, and diversity. Equity Advocates play a vital role in creating meaningful campus employment opportunities for students of color, while gaining hands-on leadership and learning experiences that contribute to their personal growth.
Campus Location : Des Plaines & Skokie
Length of Employment : December 2025- May 2026

Some evenings and weekends for special events or workshops.
