Job Title : Level 2 Registered Nurse, ICU Stepdown

License : RN License (New York only)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• Stepdown / PCU experience
• High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience
• Telemetry experience

Description :

The Level 2 Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards.

This role involves clinical practice, service excellence, and professional development.

The Level 2 Registered Nurse may assume an expanded role, which includes charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Experience in neuro checks, external ventricular drains, lumbar drains, subdural drains, and specific intravenous fluids and drips is required.

Familiarity with arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil / clips, deep brain stimulator insertion, ventricular-peritoneal shunts, and seizing management is essential.

Telemetry experience is required for this position.

Candidates must commit to a start date for the specified duration.
