About the Clinician's Workday

This opportunity requires call and involves 100% supervision, even while on call. The facility covers two campuses with a range of cases. At one campus, they handle 220230 adult heart cases (no pediatric hearts), along with heads, ortho, vascular, GI, neuro, and Level 2 trauma cases. At the other campus, the focus is on urology, pediatrics, neonates, plastics, Level 2 trauma, OB, and general surgery, including approximately 3,200 deliveries annually with no VBACs. CRNAs are in-house 24 / 7. Physician call at Cooper is 1 : 4 beeper call with a 30-minute response radius and post-call day off. At Harrison, physician call is 1 : 5, in-house from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., also with a post-call day off. During vacations, call adjusts to 1 : 4. Weekend call is two weekends per month, alternating between Saturday call one weekend and Friday / Sunday call the other. A CRNA is always present with the physician during call.
