Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate CAD models, drawings, patterns, and construction documents.
• Ensure CAD files are compatible with cutting room, router, and shop workflows.
• Produce drawings for fabrication, assemblies, BOMs, layouts, and exploded views.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure drawings align with job requirements.
• Perform some field measurements and translate site conditions into accurate patterns.
• Support production by troubleshooting design issues and updating drawings.
• Maintain logs of job numbers, drawing numbers, and time spent on projects.
• Read and interpret job tickets and ensure design outputs match specifications.
• Special projects and team assignments as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in drafting, design, engineering technology, or equivalent experience.
• CAD‑related degree preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Experience with CAD software such as MPanel and Cutting Edge
• Strong understanding of building/structural principles and fabrication processes.
• High proficiency with Windows PC environments; strong computer and basic networking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and conceptual design skills.
• Comfort with sewing and fabric handling (preferred but can be trained).
