HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Title : MRI Technologist

Location : Charleston, SC

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) — Friday to Sunday

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements

  • Perform MRI scans using Siemens equipment following established protocols.
  • Operate both mobile MRI units (Fridays until 5 PM) and main facility MRI (after 5 PM Friday through Sunday).
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma environment.
  • Work holidays if they fall within scheduled shifts.
  • Follow Epic charting and hospital documentation standards.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required.
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience with Siemens MRI systems required.
  • First-time travelers accepted.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
