Purchasing Clerk Duties and responsibilities :

• Prepares purchase orders by compiling information and records from multiple sources.
• Edits purchase requests, and follows up on outstanding purchase orders.
• Consults catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications.
• May contact vendors and suppliers for quotations.
• Places emergency orders based on request from branches.
• Analyzes inventory levels and usage to determine stocking quantities.
