We are Florida First Capital Finance Corporation (FFCFC), a self-sufficient non-profit organization with offices throughout Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. We help small businesses access capital through the SBA 504 loan program to drive economic development and job creation, with a focus on minority, rural, and women-owned businesses. Our workplace is a smaller office environment where team members know one another.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Learn and retain program details and requirements to appropriately service SBA 504 loans
- Accurately organize documents, adhering to federal requirements, internal policies, and naming conventions
- Utilize all Microsoft Office products and learn FFCFC's internal web-based programs
- Consistently communicate and follow up with borrowers as needed
Mandatory Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentAt least one (1) year of professional experience as an administrative assistant, executive admin assistant, paralegal, or a specialist in banking or real estateAbility to work full-time Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm, in the Tallahassee, FL officeAbility to pass a rigorous background checkRequirements / Candidate Qualities
Computer-savvy with high proficiency in Microsoft OfficeProfessional communication skills (phone, email, and messaging)Experience with reviewing loan files to determine compliance issues is helpful but not requiredCurrently live in Tallahassee, FL or willing to relocate (ties to the area are a plus)Willing to work in an office setting most of the workweek (occasional work-from-home days possible after training)Ability to pass a rigorous criminal background checkBenefits
