ER RN Job Details – Portland, OR Location : Portland, OR 97239 (Oregon healthcare jobs) Facility : Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated Teaching Hospital Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : Every Tuesday, beginning November 11, 2025 End Date : February 10, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shifts : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (17 : 00–05 : 30 or 19 : 00–07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Patient Ratios : 1 : 3-4 Weekend Requirement : Yes Floating : Within hospital Charting System : EPIC Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1930 - $2070 ER Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon or compact state; pending license accepted with application submitted) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (required if recent EPIC charting experience) Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred) EPIC charting experience required Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred Strong references required No background or license hits accepted ER Nurse Responsibilities Assess patient needs and coordinate emergency interventions in a fast-paced Emergency Department Perform procedures and treatments including moderate / deep sedation, ultrasound, intubation, cardioversion, D&C, sexual assault exams, CPR, and imminent deliveries Deliver care for trauma, acute stroke, STEMI, psychological emergencies, sepsis, and complex medical cases Administer blood products; manage central lines, chest tubes, IV vasopressors, and ventilated patients Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and cardiac dysrhythmias Perform triage and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams : respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more Float to other units within the hospital as needed Take your emergency nursing skills to the next level with this travel ER RN job in Portland, Oregon.
