Tanker Driver

Position : Tanker Driver, CDL A HAZMAT

Primary Location : 1660 Campbell Street, Toledo, OH 43607

Schedule : Full-Time Hourly

Reports To : Regional Driver Manager

Compensation : $30.42 USD + bonus + benefits

_Come Work With Us In This Role, You Will :

  • Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck
  • Transport and unload chemicals into customers' tanks safely and with the required paperwork
  • Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections
  • Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations
  • Become familiar with plant operating procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

    • A Successful Candidate Has :

  • Minimum two (2) years of recent tractor / tanker experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience
  • Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • A clean driving record for the past three (3) years
  • Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card
  • Be able to provide proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely

    • Specific Role Responsibilities :

  • Other Duties as assigned

    • Physical Occupational Requirements :

  • Employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs / ladders (including vertical)
  • Employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be "fit for duty"
