Head Of Operations
We are looking for a strategic, people-centered Head of Operations to lead our Business Units and Core Functions and ensure our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee strategy, execution, and results across multiple areas, serving as the bridge between C-level executives, business units, and operational teams. You will own the operational roadmap, define and track KPIs, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
This role requires both vision and action : you will shape and execute the company's long-term direction while leading first-level managers and staying ready to roll up your sleeves when needed. We are looking for someone who thrives in balancing high-level leadership with hands-on execution.
What You'll Do
Lead and guide our Business Units and Core Functions (including People & Culture, Marketing, Sales Operations, and IT) and their managers, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
Define, communicate, and execute the operational strategic plan and goals in coordination with executives.
Establish and track key operational KPIs to assess efficiency and inform decision-making.
Own the Core Functions budget and ensure financial discipline while enabling growth and innovation.
Translate C-level direction into actionable plans, methodologies, and results.
Act as liaison between operations and Business Units, driving smooth collaboration.
Define policies, processes, and tools that enable effective and compliant operations.
Manage and develop direct and indirect reports, building strong teams and succession pipelines.
Inspire and motivate teams by fostering Ekumen's values of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience as a Director of Operations, Chief of Staff, or similar senior role in organizational operations.
University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MBA or postgraduate studies a plus).
3+ years of experience in a formal people management position.
Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and market analysis.
Ability to think strategically, develop long-term plans, and translate them into actionable execution.
Demonstrated methodical mindset with high attention to detail, complementing broader business and technical perspectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics simply and clearly across multiple levels of the company.
Proven experience in fast-growing, multi-entity, or international organizations.
Solid exposure to both technical and business environments.
Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
