Key Responsibilities
Verify and document new patient insurance coverage and coordinate costs for supplies
Contact insurance carriers to request prior authorizations and reverify existing patient insurance coverage
Communicate with patients regarding insurance benefits and collaborate with internal teams on insurance eligibility
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in the medical industry or call center / customer service
Ability to interpret medical publications and procedures
