Job Details :
Schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off or 14 days on, 14 days off
Manage approximately 12 patient encounters per shift
Work in both acute psychiatric unit / institute and long-term psychiatric facility settings
Treat various mental health conditions including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD / ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
Must be comfortable with involuntary commitments and restraint application when necessary
Provide comprehensive treatment including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy
Must maintain active Alaska medical license - will only consider Alaska licensed providers at this time
BLS certification required
Estimated credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
Position start date : October 27, 2025 with ongoing assignment opportunities
