We are looking for a Legal Secretary for an immediate hire opportunity for a well established, and professional law office in Somerville, NJ!

Schedule :

  • Monday - Friday
  • 9am - 5pm

Competitive Compensation Offered!

  • $20-25 / hr (depending on experience)

    • Legal Secretary Responsibilities :

  • Transcribe and proofread legal documents
  • Accurately file documents with the court ahead of deadlines
  • File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents in a timely manner
  • Answer phone calls, take notes / messages and redirect calls when appropriate
  • Schedule court depositions, hearings, and other meetings
  • Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders

    • Legal Secretary Qualifications :

  • Prior legal secretary experience preferred
  • Excellent typing skills (60 WPM preferred)
  • Detail oriented, excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Outlook, word, Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of document management, and electronic filing systems
