Permanent Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity near Fort Bragg, NC

An exciting permanent opportunity for a Hospitalist specializing in Family Medicine or Med-Peds is available near Fort Bragg, NC. This position offers a unique role as a Nocturnist Hospitalist, providing outstanding inpatient care to patients of all ages.

Job Description :

We are seeking a board-certified / board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Med-Peds Hospitalist Nocturnist to join our hospitalist service. The ideal candidate will work approximately 10-12 shifts a month and maintain a strong focus on providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.

Highlights Include :

Rounding on Adult and Pediatric patients, offering a great mix for individuals who want inpatient work and the ability to care for patients of all ages

Flexible scheduling of shifts, 8 PM to 8 AM, with 12-hour shifts

Inpatient clinical responsibilities including admissions, discharges, consults, and transfers

ICU management, including rounding, running codes, vent management, and intubations

Attend caesarean sections and round in the newborn nursery (NRP certification required)

Ability to work independently with on-call specialists available by phone

Nocturnists can expect to have 4-5 patient encounters per night with an average of 3-4 Emergency Department admissions

Wide scope of services provided at the hospital, including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology

Ability to live in close proximity to Raleigh or Wilmington, North Carolina
