NTG - Busser

Job Summary :

Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant including cleaning inside and outside of restaurant, sweeping the restaurant, cleaning windows, cleaning filters, clearing and wiping down tables.
• Places, changes and transports the trash to dumpsters.
• Sets up patio furniture including setting up tables and opening umbrellas.
• Brings in patio furniture at the end of the day.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Sets up tables for guests.
• Restocks any or all condiments / cutlery.
• Extracts dirty water as per company policies.
• Checks tables and wipes down chairs.
• Checks with manager as to who is cleaning the restrooms on a daily basis.
• Maintains food storage under company policy.

Language Ability :

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Pay ranges from $20.00 - $20.50 depending on location and experience.
