Job Description : Summer 2026 Internal Audit Internship

Are you looking for professional experience at a great company in banking and finance? This might be the opportunity for you! This nine-week internship helps college students gain meaningful work experience through targeted educational opportunities to develop them as future organizational leaders. Overview

The Internal Audit department provides independent assurance by evaluating risk management, controls, and governance processes. They conduct audits across departments, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance testing, to help leadership make informed decisions. Interns will gain exposure to auditing techniques, business processes, and the role of internal audit as the bank's line of defense.

Location : St. Louis, MO / Support Center (Hybrid Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing to understand regulatory compliance
• Support operational audit work, including process walkthroughs with managers
• Contribute to audit planning and documentation for risk assessments
