About the Company & Overview of the Payroll Specialist Role :
- Our client is a well known manufacturing company in Severn, MD. Due to a recent promotion, they are looking to hire a reliable and personable Payroll Specialist to join their team
The Payroll Specialist role will start on a contractual basis. For the right candidate, this position can become permanent
Schedule : 7-4 or 8-5 M-F. Position is 100% in office in Severn, MD. They are flexible to do some work from home days if needed.Candidates must be able to start work between 7am and 8am
Salary : $52,000 - $60,000Job Duties of the Payroll Specialist :
Process weekly payroll for ~500 employees across multiple business entitiesOnboard new employees, and handle employee records and i9 documentsHandling changes in direct deposit informationAssisting with yearly reviewsSupport the benefits department by conducting audits as neededGenerate payroll reports for managementQualifications for the Payroll Specialist :
3+ years' payroll experience requiredExperience using Paycom or similar system highly preferredProficiency with Excel required
