Medical Surgical Unit - Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and / or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only : Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed Hours : 36

Primarily night shifts (7p-7a) with potential for some dayshifts (7a-7p)

Alternating weekends and potential for holidays.

Primarily medical surgical with occasional float to special care unit.

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : COPD, CHF, Total joints, Hysters, general post ops.

Experience : Must have at least 1 year experience, prefer to have travel experience. Will train travelers on things they are unfamiliar with.

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend- Fri, Sat, Sun.

Holiday Requirement : Rotate with perm staff.

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
