Education : An ideal educational background would include a mix of accounting, financial modeling and allocations - you can equate this to the development of overhead application rates studied in cost or managerial accounting classes.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

This is a specialist role for an expense accountant that will focus on mastering Financials current expense allocation process.

In this role you will partner with the current specialist, learning his role and responsibilities, reporting requirements and controls in order to free up capacity during a strategic project.

The candidate should be an expert at navigating Microsoft Excel.

The model is presently made up of three files that intake actual expenses at a detailed level and run them through a series of waterfall mechanics that produce allocated expenses.

The model is a combination of basic math, allocation methodologies, and drivers.

The outputs are journal entries that post into SAP.
