GENERAL SUMMARY :
Provides logistical and administrative support for the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Department. Primary responsibilities include adherence to the bank-wide Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Customer Identification Policy (CIP) Policy, customer risk rating, and the Designation of Exempt Person (DOEP) procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
1. Maintain continual knowledge and understanding of the bank’s AML Program, policies and related procedures and updates to these resulting from changing regulatory requirements.
2. Support front-line personnel and other business lines with onboarding of new customers or updating existing customer information.
3. Review incoming due diligence questionnaires to ensure appropriate risk indicators are identified and applied to the customer’s risk profile in the automated system.
4. Process due diligence alerts generated by customer behavior, risk score, and other factors as determined by the risk parameters of the automated system.
5. Conduct ongoing high risk due diligence reviews. Analyze data to reach conclusions and maintain review documentation to support findings.
6. Process watchlist alerts, including OFAC and other sanctions, generated by the automated system and provide support to front-line personnel and other business lines, as needed.
7. Prepare initial DOEP form filings and conducts annual CTR exemption reviews.
8. Monitor nightly import summary reports in the automated system to identify data errors and potential impacts. Escalate errors as appropriate.
9. Escalate delinquent requests for information and non-resolution of CDD review requests as appropriate.
10. Assist other teams within the BSA Department, as needed, and / or as assigned by CDD Manager.
11. Complete required BSA / AML training and any other training as assigned.
12. Other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS
Light Work : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Job involves sitting most of the time and if walking and standing is required, only occasionally.
