Are you ready to launch and lead a school built for joy, impact, and innovation?

Flourish is a founder‑led, mission‑driven network of microschools reimagining the middle school years (5th–8th grade) through project‑based learning (PBL), deep community stewardship, and bold integration of emerging tools and technologies.

Each Flourish school is intentionally small (~100 students, 4 teachers), creating a close‑knit environment where every child is known, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their learning.

As a Founding Lead Teacher, you’ll design and deliver meaningful projects, build a thriving school culture, recruit and engage families, and ultimately step into equity ownership of your own Flourish campus.

🚀 Year 1 – Lead & Learn

  • Build our community : develop family partnerships, support student recruitment & enrollment
  • Lead a small team of educators to deliver rigorous, joyful, student‑centered outcomes
  • Model and champion Flourish culture : high joy, low bureaucracy, deep purpose
  • Help refine and expand our innovative AI‑supported, superpower‑based learning model

🌱 Year 2+ – Grow & Own

  • Launch and lead your own Flourish school with full operational, marketing, and training support
  • Own recruitment and enrollment : outreach, partnerships, events, and the full family journey
  • Build and deepen community partnerships that sustain a vibrant microschool
  • Gain equity ownership in your school and join a national network of Teacher Founders

    • Requirements

    ✅ Who We’re Looking For

  • Licensed 5th–8th (or K–8) educator with 3+ years’ classroom experience (Master’s preferred)
  • A builder : owner’s mindset, bias to action, resourceful problem‑solving, reliable follow‑through
  • Deep belief in family partnerships and community engagement
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills; calm under pressure
  • Technological fluency & interest in emerging educational tools (AI a plus)
  • Bonus : Spanish‑language skills or experience in high‑quality child‑focused environments

    Benefits

    Year 1 – Launching Teacher Role

  • Base Salary : $60,000
  • Performance Bonus : Up to $16,000 (family recruitment & community engagement weighted)

    • Year 2+ – Teacher Founder Role

  • Base Salary : $60,000
  • Performance Bonus : Up to $30,000

  • Autonomy : Full operational, marketing, and enrollment leadership
  • Network : Ongoing support and membership in the national Teacher Founder community
