Michigan Works!, a subsidiary of Kinexus Group, is proactive in seeking opportunities to enhance workforce development efforts. The Project Manager will implement an evolving list of projects that support workforce development efforts. Key working relationships for the Project Manager include collaboration with various teams throughout the organization as well as with a myriad of external partners.
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of successfully delivering assigned grant-funded projects with varying time frames and funding sources. The Project Manager will drive cross-team collaboration to implement quality workforce development strategies that meet the needs of job seekers and employers.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and / or experience, project management experience, particularly grant-funded projects, strong interpersonal and communication skills, passion for serving others and the community, capability to work in a team environment, ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality, solid computer skills and ability in Microsoft, Excel, Power Point and virtual meeting platforms, ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
