About the Role : Middle School History Teacher
As a Middle School History Teacher , you will play a pivotal role in guiding students toward becoming self-directed learners. You will work collaboratively within grade-level teams to foster a love for history that empowers students to find their voices and become informed global citizens. Your classes will emphasize textual analysis, analytical writing, and engaging discourse, making history come alive for your students. By the end of eighth grade, your students will be well-prepared for the academic challenges of high school.

Compensation
The salary for this role ranges from $56,000 to $80,000 , determined by factors such as relevant teaching experience, educational certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. Candidates without full-time teaching experience will likely start at $56,000.
