For this role, we seek individuals responsible for the complete oversight and execution of construction projects. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients and project teams, manage vendors and materials, report on project performance, and participate in hands-on construction tasks on job sites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing direction to general contractors, architects, and vendors to complete projects on time and within contract requirements.
- Reviewing construction contracts and pay requests according to contract details and checklists.
- Monitoring deliverables of developments and landlord contractors to ensure compliance with EquipmentShare's building requirements and timelines.
- Reviewing, auditing, and taking action on errors in all documentation, both hard copy and electronic.
- Managing change order requests, including review, negotiation, and approval.
- Reviewing new store plans, including civil, architectural, engineering, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- Ensuring EquipmentShare's locations are designed effectively, verified through quarterly audits of Standard Criteria Plans.
- Preparing bid information for new locations, including invitation to bid forms, addendums, bid books, and relevant documentation.
- Surveying existing buildings and preparing scopes of work, including necessary inspections.
- Sourcing new EquipmentShare locations within designated regions.
- Scoping and budgeting remodels of existing buildings into new locations.
- Participating in weekly cross-functional meetings to assess cost, efficiency, and design reviews.
- Managing project closeout documentation and the 11-month warranty process for retrofit projects.
- Storing and filing important materials and sending final plans to external vendors for data backup.
Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of construction experience.5+ years managing multiple projects concurrently in commercial and / or industrial construction.Experience managing projects over $1 million.Experience with steel frame buildings.Proficiency in Google Sheets and construction management software.Strong negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.Ability to work effectively cross-functionally.Excellent prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.Hands-on site presence required.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.Why We're a Better Place to Work
