Overview
We're looking for Entry-level and Senior Attorneys to join Children's Legal Services (CLS), the Department of Children and Families. CLS is Florida's leading legal advocate for abused, abandoned, and neglected children. Working in a team of more than 300 attorneys, you will represent children in Chapter 39 proceedings and other dependency matters.
What You Will Do
As a CLS attorney, you will manage multiple cases and collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence and build legal strategies. Your responsibilities include preparing pleadings, presenting evidence at trial, and employing best-practice litigation techniques to secure permanent, safe homes for dependent children.

Compensation
For a full-time permanent appointment, the annual base salary for an entry-level attorney is $55,000 and for a senior attorney is $69,000. Total compensation, inclusive of the benefits listed above, is valued at a minimum of $95,318. Actual compensation varies based on insurance and retirement elections.
