We areseeking an experienced Locums Interventional Cardiology Physician to provide24-hour call coverage at a well-established hospital in Orem, Utah. This roleinvolves comprehensive inpatient cardiology care, including STEMI coverage, dailyrounds, and consult services, supporting a busy cardiology program.

PositionDetails :

  • Schedule : 24-hour call, 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 AM
  • Coverage Type : Inpatient – rounding, consults, and emergent cases
  • Practice EMR : Meditech

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Provide 24 / 7 STEMI and cardiology consult call coverage
  • Conduct daily rounds on all assigned inpatients
  • Manage a wide range of adult interventional cardiology cases
  • Perform TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Accurately document all patient care activities in Meditech

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified in Cardiology by the American Board of Cardiology
  • Active Utah Medical License – required
  • Active DEA registration – required
  • Demonstrated competence in managing all adult interventional cardiology cases, including TEEs
